By using the website at northlauderdaledeckandfence.com or engaging North Lauderdale Deck & Fence for contractor services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or engage our services. These terms apply to all visitors, estimate requests, contracts, and project engagements.
North Lauderdale Deck & Fence provides outdoor construction and improvement services including, but not limited to, deck design and construction, fence installation, pergola installation, screened porch construction, pool deck construction, and related outdoor living services for residential properties in North Lauderdale, FL and surrounding communities. All services are subject to a written agreement between North Lauderdale Deck & Fence and the customer prior to work beginning.
All estimates provided by North Lauderdale Deck & Fence are based on information available at the time of the on-site visit or customer consultation. Estimates are not binding contracts. Final pricing is established in a written project agreement signed by both parties before work begins.
Prices are subject to change if the scope of work changes after the agreement is signed, if unforeseen site conditions are discovered during construction, or if the cost of materials changes significantly due to circumstances outside our control. Any changes to the agreed scope or price will be documented in a written change order signed by both parties.
When a project requires a building permit, North Lauderdale Deck & Fence will obtain the permit on behalf of the customer as part of the project. Permit fees are included in the project agreement or listed separately. Work requiring a permit will not begin until the permit is issued by the relevant authority. Customers are responsible for obtaining any required homeowners association (HOA) approvals before construction begins. Delays caused by permitting authorities or HOA review processes are not grounds for penalties against North Lauderdale Deck & Fence.
Project start dates are estimates based on permit timelines, material availability, and crew scheduling. North Lauderdale Deck & Fence will communicate any changes to the project schedule as soon as they are known.
If a customer cancels a signed project agreement, cancellation terms will be specified in that agreement. In general, costs already incurred for permits, materials ordered, and design work may not be refundable. If North Lauderdale Deck & Fence must cancel or significantly delay a project due to circumstances outside our control - including severe weather, permit delays, or supply chain disruptions - we will notify the customer promptly and reschedule as soon as possible.
Payment terms are specified in each project agreement. Typically, a deposit is required before work begins, with progress payments tied to project milestones and a final payment upon completion. Invoices are due within the timeframe stated in the project agreement. Late payments may be subject to a late fee as specified in the agreement. Work may be paused on projects with overdue balances until payment is received.
North Lauderdale Deck & Fence warrants its workmanship for a period specified in the written project agreement. This warranty covers defects in installation that result from our work. It does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, acts of nature (including hurricanes, flooding, or severe weather), improper maintenance, misuse, or modifications made by others after project completion.
Materials and products installed by North Lauderdale Deck & Fence may carry separate manufacturer warranties. We will provide relevant warranty documentation at project completion. Manufacturer warranties are governed by the terms set by each manufacturer.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, North Lauderdale Deck & Fence is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from services provided or this website. Our total liability for any claim related to a project will not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that project. This limitation applies regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise.
